(Reuters) – President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order that launched a review of procurement programs at the U.S. Department of Defense.
The order aimed to modernize the procurement structure at the department to ensure the U.S. is “getting value for the money (and) to ensure that we’re getting the best possible systems in the field,” White House aide Will Scharf said at the signing ceremony in the Oval Office.
